This Personal Use License explains what you can and cannot do with digital products purchased from HitLane Records.

By purchasing or downloading any HitLane Records digital product, you agree to this Personal Use License.

1. What You Are Buying

When you purchase a HitLane Records digital product, you are buying a limited personal-use copy of the product.

Products may include:

  • MP3 audio files
  • WAV audio files
  • Lyric sheets
  • Digital booklets
  • Artwork
  • Related downloadable materials

You are not buying ownership of the song, recording, lyrics, artwork, copyright, publishing rights, master rights, or any other intellectual property.

2. License Grant

HitLane Records grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the purchased product for personal listening, personal storage, and personal reference only.

This means you may:

  • Download the purchased files for your own personal use.
  • Listen to the music privately.
  • Store the files on your personal devices.
  • Print or view lyric sheets for personal reference.
  • Keep a personal backup copy for your own use.

3. What This License Does Not Allow

This license does not allow you to:

  • Resell the files.
  • Share the files with others.
  • Upload the files to public websites, file-sharing platforms, social media, or streaming platforms.
  • Distribute the files by email, cloud folders, messaging apps, or any other method.
  • Use the music in YouTube videos, TikTok videos, Instagram videos, podcasts, films, ads, games, apps, livestreams, or other media.
  • Use the music or lyrics in any commercial project.
  • Use the music in monetized content.
  • Sample, remix, edit, modify, re-record, interpolate, or create derivative works.
  • Claim authorship or ownership of the music, lyrics, recordings, or artwork.
  • Register the music or lyrics with any copyright office, publisher, performing rights organization, distributor, royalty collection service, or content ID system.
  • Use the files for AI training, dataset creation, voice cloning, music generation, or machine learning purposes.
  • Remove copyright notices, metadata, watermarks, credits, or ownership information.

4. No Sync License

This purchase does not include a sync license.

You may not use the music in videos, films, trailers, commercials, advertisements, social media content, podcasts, games, apps, or any visual media without a separate written sync license from HitLane Records.

5. No Public Performance License

This purchase does not grant public performance rights.

You may not publicly perform, broadcast, stream, or play the music in public or commercial settings unless you have the proper rights, permissions, or licenses required by law.

6. No Publishing Rights

This purchase does not grant publishing rights.

You may not register, administer, collect royalties from, license, or otherwise exploit the composition, lyrics, or musical work.

7. No Master Rights

This purchase does not grant master recording rights.

You may not claim ownership of the sound recording, distribute it as your own, upload it through a music distributor, or monetize it on streaming platforms.

8. Commercial Licensing

If you want to use HitLane Records music or lyrics for a commercial, creative, sync, media, advertising, film, podcast, game, social media, or business project, you must request a separate written license.

Contact HitLane Records before using any product commercially.

9. Ownership

All rights not expressly granted in this Personal Use License are reserved by HitLane Records.

HitLane Records retains all ownership, copyright, publishing rights, master rights, commercial rights, licensing rights, and intellectual property rights in its music, lyrics, recordings, artwork, branding, and related materials.

10. Violation of License

If you violate this Personal Use License, your right to use the purchased product may be terminated immediately.

HitLane Records reserves the right to pursue available remedies for unauthorized use, redistribution, infringement, or misuse of its intellectual property.
